Arturo Desimone, born (1984) and raised, on the island Aruba,

the Aruban-Argentinean writer and visual artist generates poems, prose, essays and visual art not in that order. Arturo's articles about politics and culture and literary pieces have appeared in publications in English (incl. Drunken Boat Low-Fi Ardentia, Small Axe Salon, OpenDemocracy, New Orleans Review, Moko Caribbean Arts and Letters, Mister Motley) also Spanish and translated into Arabic, Dutch and Icelandic. He has exhibited visual art primarily drawings in galleries mostly in Amsterdam and in Argentina and recited poems recently in the poetry festival of Granada, Nicaragua. One book of political poems and drawings, "Poems of the Costa Nostra" was published this year in the UK with a small press (Hesterglock) and just this month another book of poems stands slated to appear in English and in Spanish.
